Blacet Hex Zone in Eurorack?

Blacet Hex Zone in Eurorack?

2008-03-19 by John Blacet

Hi All:

It occurs to me that it would not be difficult to port this over. Mainly a
new front panel.

Any interest?

You can see more on our main page:

...no!...no 'uniform' colour - or, please, make it an option; I do have
modules from different manufacturers (at this time silver and black,
planning on transparent also) in my setup, and - apart from being easier to
manage (for me) it makes also for an much more interesting view...

if John decides to do a run of euro format Hex-Zones,
i think it should be silver faceplate. it would match
the whole system's aesthetics much more.
the only black euro modules are the MFB and they do
not look very fitting, because of this reason, IMHO...
(although i am sure they do sound nice!)
Silver is the colour to go i think...

---Silver is no problem. Might be more of a lightly brushed finish....
Lettering would be the same as our rack version.

The current size is 6" wide so whatever is the equivalent in Doepfer units...

The price would be the same.

I would plan a run of 100 units as a one time event with preorders
necessary to secure a unit.

Would the price be the same?
Kits and assembled?

I'd be up for one if it was the same price (and silver in euro)

Blacet Hex Zone in Eurorack?

2008-03-20 by Dan Levey

John,

I'm very glad you're getting in to Eurorack. Obviously you see the
immense and growing arena for your great products. The Miniwave (which
I have with a Euro faceplate and love) should be your next one and is
heavily desired.
