Connecting power cable of ASys module to Doepfer board

Connecting power cable of ASys module to Doepfer board

i need to put some ASys modules into my doepfer case (my AS0084 is
full...)

i have some spare female doepfer sockets lying around, can i just
press these onto the other end of an ASys to ASys connector cable, and
that will work?

and if so, which end of the female socket should the red stripe be?

(and dieter, please, please, please release the a189-1...)

The A-189-1 will go into production soon. We are waiting for the special
miniature rotary switches with 16 positions. As soon as they arrive our
manufacturer will start the production.

Best wishes

just to answer my own question, in case it's useful to someone in the
future, i spoke to ASys, and the answer is no, the 12v runs down
different strips of the ribbon between the two formats, so my kludge
would not have worked, but ASys sell an adapter cable for £8.

(they also sell nice coloured short 3.5mm patch cables, i noticed).

very good news about the imminence of the a189-1.
