Using A-111 as Sync Master

Using A-111 as Sync Master

2008-05-11 by beakanddune

Hi,

I've been messing around with the sync of my A-110 and A-111
oscillators and have noticed something odd. If my A-111 is master then
the A-110 will only track the square/pulse waveform of the A-111
(other waveforms don't do anything). If however the A-110 is master
then the A-111 will track any of the A-110's waveforms. Similarly, if
I feed the sync in on my A-110 a waveform from my Analogue Solutions
osc then it will work with any of the waveforms.

I suppose the question is, is there something wrong with the A-111 or
is this normal behavior ? I know the A-110 and A-111 are different so
perhaps its a quirk of this design ?

Cheers

Simon

I think the output level of the a-111 is just a little too low for
all waveforms to be able to sync another osc. also the impedance on
the pulse wave seems to be slightly non-standard.
