Doepfer

Just got some probaly simple questions on exspanding the doepfer system.

I have two rows of modules that add up to about 480mA. The power
supply's max is 1200mA. Is it then possible to exspand only with an
extra case and bus board and connect it to original power supply.

p.s I'm quite young and not eclectonic wiz and don't plan on carring
out any procedure myself just wandering the process of power
distribution to the modules through the bus boards work. Any help
would be appreatiated.

Yes, that's possible. But you need some experience with mechanical
construction and wiring. As the third bus board is outside the A-100 frame
you have to add some kind of 3-pin connection to the existing frame and the
extra case.

Upon request we also offer custom-made A-100 suitcases with 84HP/9U (i.e.
for three rows of modules) and one power supply only. The price is about
20-25% more than the suitcase with 84HP/6U. These cases are not in stock but
have to be manufactured  as custom-made products (about 6-8 weeks delivery
time).
