Perhaps someone can answer these questions about the A-190-2 MIDI/CV 
interface

1. How does the resolution compare to the A-190-1?

2. Is the glide linear or exponential?

3. I see no mention of the +5V adapter, so I assume this isn't needed?

The A-190-1 has 12 bit, the A-190-2 8 bit. But for note messages there is no
difference because the 12 bit of the A-190-1 are required only for the
addition of pitch bend to the note CV and for LFO or portamento
applications. The A-190-2 has a separate pitch-bend CV that can be added to
the note CV e.g. by means of an A-185-2 (see A-190-2 user's manual for
details)

the A-100AD5 is not necessary
