Hello. Does anyone one where to find the pots used on most the doepfer modules. Im looking for some that have the same spacing(almost like for a guitar body) which is about 1/2" of thread and with the pcb supports. They say DI YA on the backs and i haven't found such a manufacturer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Lance

I just looked at those and there are solder lug termination and they dont have the pcb supports. also the thread is probably only a 1/4". Thanks for the reply. Any help would be appreciated. > > Thanks Lance The pots used in the A-100 are custom made devices (e.g. special lenght of the thread and shaft) and are not available as standard products (we have to order at least 10000 pots per order, otherwise the manufacturer does accept the order). But you can get them from your local Doepfer representative as spare parts. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer

That's nothing but a standalone version of the A-111-5 with vintage type knobs. The unit is built into a black metal case with power supply and Midi/USB interface. And the distance between the controls is more than in the A-100 because of the larger knobs. The Dark Energy synth looks great ... but where is the slew/glide control? I do like the idea of building a micro modular out of the A111-5, and 3-4 other modules. Maybe 50HP wide with a strip underneath for the A115 pin breakouts (Inverter In/Out, LFO & ADSR out), plus a multiple and a couple attenuators. What would really excite me is if a very small system like this could be battery powered. The twin sealed lead acid battery solution, adopted by some here, sounds like it works well. However, something running of one compact Li-ion power pack would take up much less room in such a small case. You really should put quarter inch jacks on that thing - mini jacks don't any sense for a standalone.: especially for the audio i/o Then all those moogerfooger owners will just have to buy one too! Moog should made something like this a long time ago I agree on the missing lag generator I also wonder if there is any way one of the LFOs could be used as a simple EG? Its nice having two LFOs but with a single EG its difficult to see it is as complete monosynth. - an extra simple EG which was loopable and could double as an LFO might be better? Richard
