A-111-5 filter tracking problems

A-111-5 filter tracking problems

2009-10-29 by phono 1337

Not sure if this is normal behaviour or if i have a faulty unit. I
have a couple of mfb power supplies/midi cv converters and i've tried
with both and they both yield the same results.

The problem is this, when using the internal bus, notes play at the
correct pitch and gate fine but VCF tracking doesn't work at all
regardless of the switch position. However if i connect a cv cable
from the front panel to the VCO F socket then filter tracking works as
expected, i wonder if this is a problem with the mfb design or a
problem with my A-111-5, any ideas?

oh never mind, i just looked in the manual and found out there's a
jumper for the tracking source, time to add a new switch to my blind
panel.

excuse the noise :)
