please please longer bus cables

please please longer bus cables

i'm rearranging the rack after putting it off for ever, and am frustrated once again by the short doepfer bus cables. quite often i need an envelope on one row attached to the cv/gate on another row, and it's often impossible to do. the analogue solutions and mfb modules have much longer bus cables, and i'd gladly pay the extra few cents for another 5cm of connector.

i'm aware that i can connect the rows internally, but there are reasons why i don't want to do that, one of which is that the midi interfaces don't have jumpers to disconnect them from the cv and gate busses, which would be a better solution i.m.o. than cutting through wires that may have to be resoldered later on.

so, back to the rack...

In the meantime more than 80% of the customers order the portable versions
of the A-100 cases. And for these cases even the 20cm bus cables are a bit
long and cause sometimes a crowd of cables. E.g. in our demo case we use
shorter cables with 10...15 cm only.

But longer bus cables are available on request (small surcharge as each
cable has to be made manually).

Best wishes

Hi Stuart

it is dead simple to make them diy. No soldering is required. Take an
example cable to the next electronic store and aks for the suitable
connectors. All you need is a pair of scissors and a parallel vice.
