how do you use the a156,do you use the trigger outputs and for what 
purpose?

They work great for glissando's of course, but I mainly use this 
feature in conjunction with the A155's glide function. It can insert 
notes in-between the clock pulses, creating more complex rhythms than 
possible with just a step sequencer.

If you're careful, you can make this work using the pitch CV. Much 
more control is possible, though, if you use the second A155 track as 
a dedicated glide/trigger controller.

I'm fond of random LFOs patched to the A156. I don't have an 
Attenuator/Offset module (the A156 doesn't respond to negative 
voltages), but the A138a mixer and A176 CV source do the job just as 
well. (The A176 is a VERY helpful module to have with the A156, it's 
needed frequently for transpositions as well).
