Well, yes, he did mail most of the problem we have seen. But there is always
the proverbial "making profit" that most seem to equate with "lets fool the
customer as much as possible". That's why we get new synth models evey year
that not always does what we expect them to I guess. Too bad I'll not be
around in the 25th century to see if money is nonexistent like in startrek
;)

I actually agreed with most of this article - this is a first for me 
(certified synth snob).  Calling Subotnick a 'clarinetist' was a bit 
of an understatement, but no biggie.
