monster base + keyboard

monster base + keyboard

2010-12-02 by Monroe Eskew

Sorry if this has been discussed here before...

On the page for the Monster Base Frame, it says:

"E.g. the OEM version of the A-100 CV/Gate keyboard with a keybed of
max. 4 octaves can be installed into the top cover of the monster base
by the customer."

What does this mean exactly? Are there any pictures of this being done?

I would especially like it if somehow one could build a midi keyboard
into the Monster Base Frame, couple that with the forthcoming
polyphonic midi-cv module, and have a very powerful portable machine.

Thanks,
Monroe

The A-100CGK is available as an DIY/OEM version, i.e. only the keybed plus
electronics without case. The 4 octaves keybed and the electronics can be
mounted into the top cover of the A-100 monster base. We did this a few
years ago as a prototype and displayed someplace (I think it was the
Frankfurt Musikmesse). I'm not sure if I have a picture available. It's
nothing but a 4 octave keybed plus the pc boards mounted into the monster
base cover.

Best wishes
