Re: [Doepfer_a100] Re: A-154/155 question - 16 steps using an A-150?

Hi Matt, I don't own an A-154 - but here's how I do it: Clock (Squarewave out of Bubblesound uLFO) > One half of A-180 Multiple A-180 Out 1(1) > Clock In of A-155 A-180 Out 2(1) > Trig. In of A-160 A-160 /16 Out (the manual says /8) > Other half of A-180 Multiple A-180 Out 1(2) > A150 CV In 1 A-180 Out 2(2) > A-150 CV In 2 A-155 Post Out (Row 1) > A-150 I/O 1(1) A-155 Post Out (Row 2) > A-150 I/O 2(1) A-155 Trig 1 Out > A-150 I/O 1(2) A-155 Trig 3 Out > A-150 I/O 2(2) A-150 O/I (1) = 16 Step CV Out A-150 O/I (2)= 16 Step Trig Out I think that's right?! It's a bit convoluted and the A-160 /2, /4, /8 outputs are now 'off beat' but there's ways round that and it works fine. HTH, Justin

Dieter, the explanation on page 11 (and fig.2) of the A-154 manual refers to the use of two A-155 modules. What I want to do is run a 16 step sequence from one A-155 module. On page 11 it's written: "it is possible to generate sequences of up to 16 steps too if two trigger rows resp. 2 CV rows of the A-155 are switched with an A-150 (for details see user examples)" but if you go to the User Examples page 12 it says "not yet ready"! So please could you explain how a single A-155 can be made to run a 16 step sequence using an A-154 and A-150? Thanks, Matt PS what does "resp." mean - I see it all the way through the A-100 manual? --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, <yahoo@...> wrote: > > > In the A-154 manual it's stated that an A-150 can be used with an > > A-154/155 to switch between the two CV rows of the A-155 thus allowing > > 16 step sequences from a single A-155, but it isn't explained how this > > is done.
