Anybody popcorn?

Anybody popcorn?

2011-12-14 by Ton Akveld

Hi group,

I hardly dare to ask, but does anybody have a patch for creating the sound of Gershon Kingsley's Popcorn?

The main, bouncy, sound? I have always assumed that that was a simple
sawtooth into a lowpass filter at very high resonance and pretty high
frequency. Colored of course by what must have been a somewhat idiosyncratic
Moog System 3 or so at the time.

All you need is a vco, vca, vcf and ADSR
Very short attack and decay on the vca and lopass filter. I would use a square wave or almost distorted triangle.

York, Rudy,

ThanX! I'm getting close (and closer).

Kind regards,

Ton
