Doepfer

Hi,
I don't see a link on the Doepfer's website to a A-187 manual, or don't I need it, is it that simple to use?

Hi Danny,

On site all the modules do not have a PDF manual, even if sometimes some modules deserve a little PDF.

I was very interested in this module, I do not have that yet, but in fact it is no more complicated than a stomp box, the list of effects is on the site, from there 2 inputs and 2 outputs and 4 CV to modulate the effect parameters desire to change these parameters is shown at the bottom of the screen (and also in the list that is on the site) you can also change these settings manually, as described on the module, the upper row of buttons for manual settings and below to adjust the intensity of the VC.

I think it must be very easy to take care of quickly

Well, I have just ordered one, hope to receive it soon and maybe it is as you say...just as easy as a stompbox.

You'll see it's really easy to navigate, I forgot the three small black buttons, "effect" down t up is to move through the menu and select the desired effect, and bypass ben ..... you know

Yes it is very simple to use. The table with the algorithms is all you need.

The DSP is a OEM module from another manufacturer (you can se it as 
piggyback pcb in the pictures). This plugin-module is used by several 
other manufacturers, maybe there is a manual from another brand.

I did not know this Florian, thanks for the info. Do you also happen to know which other manufacturers use this? At first glance I could not find anything.

Yes it is very simple to use. The table with the algorithms is all you need.

hello

i just tryed the gate to switched trigger cable and it works great to 
trigger my
sq10 from the A-100.

but sometimes i want that the sq10 to work as a master clock device. 
i recognized that
the s-trigger cable does not work in the other direction.

is there any chance to build a cable that goes from s-trigger as 
input to A-100 gate?

i usally use a trigger modifier module for that but i hoped to just 
can do it with a cable.

Hello Felix

The "S" in s-trigger stands for a passive "switch", the "V" in v-trigger 
stands for an active voltage. This voltage has to come from somewere. So 
you need supplypower for the conversion S-Trigger to V-Trigger. That is 
why you need a module like the trigger modifier for it. You cannot do it 
with a simple cable.
