Dark Energy breakout box

Dark Energy breakout box

2013-05-23 by Martin Alaçam

Hello,

First post here; to start with: thanks Mr. Döpfer for the great
instruments.
I have a Korg MS10, Dark Energy and a small Doepfer case (full) at the
moment, but I will be expanding into 6u very soon. I could very well use
all of the "no jumper" outputs of DE as mentioned in the technical
documentation (LFO's, VCO lin FM etc). As I understand from
this<http://www.glitched.org/up/modifying-the-doepfer-dark-energy-lfo2-cv-out/>
and
other posts, it should not be too difficult. Is there anything I should be
aware of, except voiding the guarantee?

Thanks in advance, best regards,

Martin

All additional outputs should be equipped with serial protection resistors
(e.g. 220 Ohm) to avoid the damage of the Dark Energy circuitry in case of a
short circuit made at the output.

Best wishes

many thanks for that from me also!

It's so rare to get such advice from manufacturer.

Move to quarantaine
