Please help - A165 and A-199 SPRV blown by reverse polarity accident WANT TO FIX

In general the semiconductors should be the most usual components that are being blown by reverse current. Forget about passive components There are OK for sure.
I beleive you need to replace quad OpAmps (TL0x4) and maybe LM386 on the reverb module. Also you may check the transistors' hfe with appropriable multimeter, but usually transistors are being connected with power bus via resistors and there's no serious reverse current in case of wrong powering. In the opposite, the chips can be totally smoked by 1 second of wrong powering.

Thanks for the advice.

I'm trying to find where to get replacements for those Op amps for the A-199 i found the TL804CN but not sure where to get the LM386.

Any idea what i need to replace in the A-165?

Thanks Again

Ricardo

I can't see which ICs are used in A-165 but the rule is the same. Active componens may broke and passive can not if there wasn't really high current.
LM386 is very common power amplifier used in any consumer devices such as computer active speakers or iPod amplifiers. Is should be always available at any component store.

Try this for the LM386

The A-165 has two CD4077 chips

Bi-polar capacitors might also have a problem on both modules if powered improperly.
