a 143-1 trigger behaviour

a 143-1 trigger behaviour

2014-01-05 by Martin Alaçam

Hi and a happy new year,

Does the trigger on the 143-1 envelope behave like a re-trigger? In other words, does it re-trigger when it receives a signal, no matter in which phase it is?
Thanks,

Martin

Please refer to page 2 of the A-143-1 user's manual. Fig. 3 shows the
trigger behaviour in detail.

The A-143-1 can be retriggered only in the decay phase. A new trigger that
appears in the attack phase has no effect as the module is already in the
attack state. A retrigger would require that the envelope capacitor is
discharged at each rising edge of gate signal. This does not apply for the
A-143-1. The attack phase is completed after each rising edge of the gate
signal.

Best wishes
