Doepfer A155/A154 Question

Doepfer A155/A154 Question

2014-01-24 by Gavin Pykerman

Hi All,

I have 2 x A155’s connected to an A154. When you disable the A154 Master On/Off switch is there any way of getting each of the A155’s to run from their individual trigger inputs? When I input a trigger into the step input of the 1st A155 both units still progress on the same trigger. It would be useful to have the second A155 running at sub-divisions of the master clock with its own reset point for poly-rhythm’s/Steve Reich piano phase style sequencing etc.

Cheers,

Gavin.

I'm sorry - that's not possible because in this case both A-155 share the
same address signals (no matter if the A-154 is active or the address
generation unit of the first A-155 is used). You need a separate A-154 for
each A-155 or you may run the second A-155 stand-alone without A-154.

Best wishes
