VCO A-110-1 Problem ?

VCO A-110-1 Problem ?

2015-01-07 by deladriere@gmail.com

Hi there
I have Doepfer A-110-1 Standard VCO
I power it with the Doepfer DIY-Kit 1200mA
I cannot get the A-110 to work correctly :it constantly jumps from one frequency to another. (even unplugged with no entries connected)
you can listen to the example here unplugged
At first I thought I needed to warm it a little bit but even after a few hours it keeps doing the same.
I also suspected the CV bus so I removed the jumper but nothing helps

I have the impression that the module never worked & so far it is totally useless

Any advice ?

Many thanks in advance

I suppose that it's a problem with the supply. Please check if the voltages +12V and -12V are OK. Maybe the transformer does not
have sufficient power. If the supplies are OK please return the module to the dealer where you purchased it for repair/replacement.

Best wishes
