A-170-2 slew.

A-170-2 slew.

2015-03-06 by yahoo

Hello,

I’ve tested a make noise math and any waveform above 200/300Hz get transformed to something more “triangular” even with both slew parameters set to 0 (very obvious with a sine).
I’ve got a A-170 and it’s definitely not the case: what goes in, come out unmodified if the slew is at 0. That’s what I like about it.
So does the 170-2 have the same behaviour as the maths (modifying the incoming signal)?
Is it the same type of circuitry that will lead to this behaviour?

Thanks.
