A-147-2 Feeback

A-147-2 Feeback

2015-03-17 by Neil Kagan

OK, so I have just installed the A-147-2 and it’s pretty cool so far. Took me some time to get my head around the internal patching and once I worked out that both the LFO reset and Delay rest needed me to adjust me A-1190-3 Gate level from +5v to +12v all was working well.

Dieter it might be worth noting that the reset level on these inputs needs to be quite high in order to reset to 0v (last least this was the case for me). Also, red LED’s would have been fine I think, as it is rather odd when none of the other system LEDs change colour on the negative sweep, and none of my other modules have green or blue lights. Mainly this affects how I see my system aesthetically, and others may disagree!

Overall a lovely new module though, well done to you and your team :)

Hello Neil,

thank you for your comments. A +5V level should reset to 0V. The LEDs with different colours are based on suggestions of many
customers. But of course it's a matter of taste.

Best wishes

Ok that's odd then - without changing the jumper on the A-190-3, it didn't have an immediate effect of resetting either of the delay or lfo inputs. As soon as I changed the jumper it works fine. I haven't measured the voltage coming out of the 190 as I assumed it must be 5v?
