A-128 Fixed Filter Bank individual outputs

A-128 Fixed Filter Bank individual outputs

2015-08-21 by XCVII

Ready to conclude this very arduous modification and have attached 3-conductor shielded wire to the A-128 terminals both with (orange) and without (yellow) attenuators.
This way it will be possible to choose the desired output if something changes later. Before soldering all this together I wish to know if there is a general opinion
on which of the two is generally the more useful. What happens to the summed signal in the A-128 as signals are attached to these outputs? Do they drop out slightly or are they buffered?
Are the audio amplitude levels from the outputs of the terminals without attenuator high enough to clip a VCA such as A-132-4? Thanks!

They are buffered (outputs of operational amplifiers followed by a 1k serial protection resistor).

I don't think so. But you may add an attenuator at the audio input to be on the safe side.
