A-199 no reverb

A-199 no reverb

2016-06-02 by Nicolaj

My new a-199 doesn't work. I get.the direct signal but no reverb. Whats the correct way to hook it up? Spring unit out to module in, and spring unit in to module out?
I managed to hear the springs when i tap them, but it seems no audio is coming into the spring unit. What to do?
Br Nicolaj.

Sorry for the problems. Please return the module to the dealer. Sound like a defective reverb tank.

Best wishes

Thank you for the reply, Dieter.
I bought it used from the UK (I'm in Denmark). I think the best solution is to get a new tank. Do you have a suggestion to a replacement tank, and where to buy it?
Regards, Nicolaj.

The reverb tank is available as a spare part from the Doepfer representative in your country. But I have to point out that it's only
a guess that the reverb tank is faulty. It may be also a defective module. To find this out module + reverb tank have to be sent in
for repair. For details please refer to the repair notes on the FAQ page of our website.

Best wishes
