Doepfer

Hello,
anyone who knows if possible to purchase just the case from Doepfer? With anything inside, neither the rails. I would pair it with mine in order to provide a closed “twin”, with an inside door hosting PSU, stomp box… 

I unsuccessfully tried to unscrew the rails for finishing and painting: they won't come away. Any hint or just impossible (?) I used a makita (!)

Makita? Better use Bosch .... LOL

After taking out the screws you probably have to push the sides of the case a bit outside, the rails are very tight fit into the case. 
Assuming you meant the LC case. 
I did this with mine to paint it.

Also ask at Analogue zone in Budapest, I know they also make (or at least used to) their own cases...

It's possible in principle but would be a custom order. We do no longer
manufacture the A-100 cases in-house. In fact the cases are produced by our
case manufacturer who ships the cases to the company that installs the power
supply, bus boards, mains inlet and so on. Then the cases are packed and
shipped to our international distributor Alex4 in Berlin. Alex4 sends the
cases to the dealers. After all such a custom A-100LC3 twin is essentially
the same as an A-100LC6. I suppose it's easier and cheaper to order an
A-100LC6 and sell the A-100LC3 second hand.

That's basically true, but if you want to place the two LC3s left to 
right, then a LC6 does not help.

Thank you for this feedback, I would be glad to may pass a custom order. I likely didn't put it out clear. The empty case would be simply used during transport, latched together with the power supplied A-100LC3 I already own; once fastened with butterfly keys, a handle latches on the side of both cases, which finally would stay vertically when handled. It may host PSU and utilities, providing an inner door to split the room from the modules. To DIY, it would never have the same steadiness. I would be grateful if could have the chance to pass a custom order. May I use the contact email address from the website?

You have to ask your local dealer if he is willing to order the custom part
for you.

That's right. I misunderstood the idea a bit. The idea is to use the second
LC3 just to store things. Now it's clear.
