They're definately not getting
re-issues of Buchla 200 series
modules

2 NEW 200 Series modules in 30
years is too long for me :)

Absolutely, this is why I purchased
Doepfer and continue to purchase Doepfer.
Sure, I eagerly await the A-154, but, while
I'm waiting there are A131s and A132s to
add.

This is a reach, but, if Doepfer were
to license the 200 series designs from buchla
and made an A-200 series of modules, they
would have to beat all analog enthusiasts
back with a stick.

I'd add that splinter market though we are, it's these kinds of
innovations that attract serious and influential sub-splinters of the
splinter. People on the MOTM and Synths.com lists are always begging
for interesting new modules, and people on the Buchla list are always
begging for re-issues of old Buchla items. And for the most part
they're not getting them, or only at a very slow rate. And when people
commit to the Doepfer format because of their desire for the exotic
modules, it probably also moves a lot of the more conventional modules.
