By chance, is anyone in Victoria, BC?

By chance, is anyone in Victoria, BC?

Curious if anyone on this group is also located in Victoria, BC? If
so, would you mind my dropping by to see your Doepfer system?

Best, Jamie.

I've been to Victoria several times. No, I don't live there.
However, it's a wonderful place, do you know a company
called PureEdge? I work together with them.

Ok - not what you've been looking for but perhaps the
closest you can get to with such a question on such a
mailing list...

I still own just the Mini System. I wondered off into a
bunch of other analog synths from the 70s and 80s in
the meanwhile. Wish I could ever make this happen in
my live to take the band and do a tour over the west
coast, like Victoria, Vancouver, Seattle, SFO... perhaps
you can see my grown-up A100 system by then :-)

Cheers,

- Sebastian (from Munich, BY)

Sebastion, why don't you post an MP3 example of what the band is
doing? You could be heard on the west coast, the east coast, all over
the world.

Joe, all,

What a great idea! I did so. Here is the MP3 example
of what we do:

http://webaccess.mozquito.com/music/2112-2002/2112-2002-07.mp3

We're currently in the Jazz / Fusion corner. I play the keyboard on
this track, as always, and this track was recorded live as-is, together with
the band, consisting of: Percussion, Drums, Bass, Guitar and Keyboard.
The warm keyboard sound is one of those rare KORG PolySix
synths still around where I have the honor and pleasure of playing it
on this track.

BTW, our next gig is in Munich at "Pathos" February 7th, and I'm
thinking of using my Doepfer A100 Mini System live on stage
together with the KORG PolySix and the ROLAND Juno 106.
We will move more into the Elektro corner for that gig, and I'd be
happy to post an MP3 example of that kind of music we also
do if anyone is interested...

Thanks, Cheers & Have Fun,

- Sebastian :-)

Hi Sebastion

It sounds pretty good! We want to hear your A100 though, hope you
bring your mini system to Munich and record it.

Crank up the keyboards in the mix! We want to hear analog bleeps and
blurps :-)

Joe
