Would it be feasible to make a mod on the A127 so I kan switch the 
filter and the mixer settings from the front panel? I'm thinking of 4 
standard switches somewhere next to the outputs. As far as I can 
figure out I would only have to change the dipswitches to some kind 
of 3 way plug connected to 3 way switches.

Anything nasty here?

I did it: 
I used switches with for 5 mm holes.
Without remove any knob or boards. 
Just being careful using the drill starting with 1 mm and scaling til 
the 5 mm.

the holes are done 10 mm from the right border and 12.5 mm from the 
center of the driven filter.
