Agreed, I will use a CV keyboard for normal tunings, the TKB is for
everything else.

Wondering wether it makes sense to indicate tones and semitones
in
the layout of the TKB or if it is just confusing bcs the actual
tunig
can (and usually will?) be totally different. The latter might
be the
reason why - to my knowledge - both Serge's and Buchla's TKBs
have

I'm looking very much forward to the TKB but most likely will
never
scale it like an ordinary keyboard thus I prefer an appearance
that

i prefer a keyboard layout..mainly for quick note pitching of melodic material
rather than marking or taping the keys so you know where middle C is and so
on. i don't mind a non-mechanical interface, i certainly wouldn't expect it to
behave as a normal keyboard (yay!), but i think the representation of keys is
important.

hi list,
if the TKB comes in the form of a huge 3U ,84HP module
or even 6U,84HP module so,you can integrate it in the
a100 G6 or G3,i would prefer it better!!!any thoughts?

hi again,
oops...nope.i prefer it to be in a desktop form(as it

Oh, I wouldn't mind if the TKB are 19" compatible. You do not have to put
it necessarily in a rack, but it would be useful, if it fits into a 19"
compatible drawer.

I think the TKB Module + keyboard is a bad idea if you want to sell them to other people than doepfer modular users.
There is lot of interest for the TKB for MOTM, Modcan and serge users, but only as a stand alone keyboard.

hi josue,
...what do you mean exactly?the TKS ,in it's present
form ,is stand-alone.any modular user will be able to
use it in his modular set-up.only if it's released as
a doepfer a100 module will be more doepfer a100 user
oriented...

Yes, that is what i mean... I think doepfer must release the original TKS stand-alone, not the a100 module version.

Hi Josue

It was never discussed to integrate it into the A-100. Only from the
mechanical side a 19 inch compatible housing might be appreciated; as far
as I know nearly all modular systems use the 19 inch format.

Just as example: the TR808 is around a half inch wider than a 19" Rack. So
the case for the 808 is the only one, that disturbs the compact fitting of
my gear when I load my car for a gig.
