keld,
i saw your earlier comment about it being on the english but not german part.
obviously, i have no idea why they did it that way.......
from having used a "flat sensor kybd" in the past extensively ( a serge "tkb"
which also incorporates a powerful sequencer with the small touch kybd ), i
can say that the idea has merit AND is probably easier to produce on a
production basis for a company but i was looking forward to the "trautonium"
style controller both from a nostalgia point of view and from the perspective
that the use of such a control device would have its own "vocabulary" that
would diverge from normal tonal kybd styles more readily, this being
something of great interest to me as controllers are important but i`m also
not a kybd player. i`m interested in controllers that allow me to get at the
sound elements in a more visceral way. hence, also, my interest in their n64
based controller, also, sadly, not yet available.
just some "crazy dave" philosophical ramblings................. :^)
best,
dave

Thanks again Dave -this time for your thoughts of the sensor keys.
By the way what system are you working on -mine is at bit on the
small side (hoping to expand soon -but the base frames are at bit
pricey and my next purchase will need another base.)
-But a sensor keyboard along the line of the Serge will be extremly
nice.
