while the "one big module" theory is attractive, i think greater 
functionality and functionality selectability will be enhanced by a 
"sub-module" approach.
can`t wait to see the modules !

i'm really happy that my doepfer modular turns out to
be(together with the rs integrator)an AWESOME
modular!!all the latest doepfer and integrator modules
are very,very promising and way beyond the standard
vco,vca,vcf,lfo modules of most other modular
manufacturers!
about the sou:i would prefer,also, a set of
independent modules(they could form a sub-system,like
the vocoder modules!!!!)
this way we have more choise about every module and
how many times we want each function/module!

okay, I have to vote for the "big" version as it was som,ewhat frustrating putting together the Trautonium as there were a 
pretty long period where there was no controller and i went through a number of home made designs and trying a MIDI 
ribbon before giving up.

The sub-modules may make more sense when I see a drawing written out as they did for theTrautonium as to what parts 
already exist, etc.
