A voltage-controlled IR emitter would be a fantastic module! Just imagine your TV volume under ADSR control! Or changing CD tracks with an A155 sequencer :-)

How about those gas fireplaces that use an IR remote control? You could make flames appear with the Clock Divider. So, with an microphone connected to the A-119 EnvFollower the room light would react to sounds in your room. e.g. when walking you have a pulsating light. or every time the phone rings light automatically dims. Now that is wicked! ;-) Wait, can one modify a dimmable lamp by exchanging the dim control with an VCA and a minijack?
