RE: Re: [Doepfer_a100] Reviews per module

Hello Bakis and all other group members!!! The A-165 is not a super-magic-wonder module*, but i use it in nearly every patch. Its good for doubling clks -to get fast percussive envelopes (doubles the master speed) or to trig devices such as s/h, clk. div. etc etc, the inv out controls the trg in on my ms10 most of the time, but its also good for ping pong panning in use with two vcas/EGs... in other words its a little boring module, but i couldnt patch without it! ****dnfn**** > >> Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com bakisdifier" Sirros <synth_freak_2000@yahoo.com>Date: Tue, 8 Jan 2002 01:31:37 -0800 (PST) >> RE: Re: [Doepfer_a100] Reviews per moduleReply-To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com >> >>hello list,martin and linium, >>first,i am impressed by your fav modules...the first 2 >>are o.k.,but the a156 trig.modif.??i,also,have this >>module but i haven't used it much.how do you use >>it??tell as ideas... >>now to linium, >>my fav modules: >>ALL OF THEM!!!i find them useful every now and then.it >>depends on the patch that i create...every module is >>needed for a special job!! >>well,o.k.,i love the A155 SEQUENCER,the A111 HIGH-END >>VCO,the A127 TRIPLE RESONANCE FILTER. >>so,you want a polyphonic a100: >>you will need,at least,:(4)a110 vco's,(4)a131 >>vca's,(4)a140 adsr's,(4)a120 moog filter's,(1)a138 >>exp.mixer,(1)a145 lfo's.that's it for the most simple >>4-voice synth!!AND,THE DOEPFER MCV24 running in >>polyphonic mode... >>BUT, my advice is to go for a very powerful monophonic >>a100 in the beggining and then you can make it >>polyphonic later...that's what i am doing(at this >>moment i have a 3 voice synth,but i don't have the >>MCV24 so,it's a 3 midi channel multitimbral synth... >>that's all... >>synthfreak >> >>--- martin olson <martin@thewoodcutter.com> wrote: >>> hello&welcome Linium >>> >>> my three fav modules >>> 1. 127 VCRF >>> 2. 147 VCLFO >>> 3. 156 trg modif >>> ***dnfn*** >>> >>> >Thanks for the links, the mp3 are a good help. >>> > >>> >I would like to ask 2 things to the people here: >>> > >>> >What are your 3 preferred modules ? >>> >(sorry for starting an unofficial poll ;))))) >>> > >>> >Are there people using modular polyphonically >>> >I would like to know if it is feasable, may be with >>> the midicv24 >>> >Doepfer for the enveloppe and lfo ?? >>> > >>> >Linium >>> > >>> > >>> >Le Lundi 7 Janvier 2002 01:18, vous avez crit : >>> >> hello linium, >>> >> wellcome to the list!, >>> >> well,if you want some soundclips of the a100 >>> modules >>> >> to listen to,go to: >>> >> http://efofex.net/archive/backstudio/a100/ >>> (these >>> >> clips exist in the doepfer site,too, but they are >>> of a >>> >> very low quality,so it's better to download the >>> clips >>> >> from the efofex site...) >>> >> also,visit the sounds section of the doepfer >>> site,and >>> >> the: >>> >> http:/www.modular-planet.de >>> >> (by the way,listen to my new patch on modular >>> >> planet:COMPLEXSEQ)!! >>> >> also,visit the REPORTS section of the doepfer >>> >> site(where you will find links for a lot of >>> reviews of >>> >> the a100 modules in english and german >>> magazines). >>> >> i think this info will help... >>> >> synthfreak >>> >> >>> >> --- Linium <intent@club-internet.fr> wrote: >>> >> > Hello, >>> >> > >>> >> > I am new here, and very happy that such a list >>> >> > exists. >>> >> > >>> >> > I have recently sold two keyboards, a jupiter6 >>> and a >>> >> > dss1 korg (which is a >>> >> > sampler with analog filters) and with the cash >>> i >>> >> > would like to buy some >>> >> > Doepfer/Analog S/(Blacet ?) modules. >>> >> > >>> >> > For the moment my modular setup is pretty >>> limited. >>> >> > A MS20 and a few Oakley modules. >>> >> > >>> >> > I would like to know if reviews per modules >>> exist >>> >> > somewhere on the net or in >>> >> > some file areas of this list ?
