Creating one's own modules...

2002-01-08 by Bret Truchan

Hello!

Perhaps I read the postings incorrectly, but were there comments that small
manufacturers of analog modules cause Doepfer any trauma? I ask because I'm
researching making some modules that *might* be compatible with Doepfer. I
may even sell them eventually. But, I don't want to cause anyone stress.
:-)

Thanks,
- Bret

It was a little sarcastic comment (I should have added a smiley): In
general if you do a small business, this is a lot of hazzle with problems
that have nothing to do with synthesizers (but with taxes, cleaning women,
paying the rent, ...).

I did not say, that another manufacturer causes Dieter any trauma. The
other manufacturer causes himself this trauma. (Dieter can cause is own
trauma on his own, he does not need the help of another manufacturer ;-) )

In the opposite: nothing is better than additional manufacturer who
produces compatible products. This increases the business for both.
