Doepfer

According to Doepfer, the A190 midi to CV interface requires 10ma, 
but also requires a 5v source with 50ma.  So, when I use the low 
cost 5v adapter, does this mean it is drawing a total of 60ma?  Or 
is there a different way to add this up?

the a190 requires 50mA from the +5volts adapter(that
leaves another 50mA of +5volts that the low cost
adapter can handle)and 10mA from the +12/-12 volts
supply.that means that the a190 requires a total of
60mA from the main PSU.this is because the +5volts low
cost adapter,is an adapter,not a power supply.it takes
it's +5volts current from the main PSU(from the
+12volts line of the PSU).so,the a190 draws 60mA,in
total,from the main PSU.
