I don't know anybody since Doepfer is adamant on the policy that you have to
go through your local retailer which usually adds about 25% to the price...
So living in bahamas prolly gets you the best prices. The middle man always
costs more that in tastes.

right: Anybody has the best prices ;) 
I don't know this really and I may be wrong, but as far as i know, Doepfer
has a fixed price list, which is valid for all sellers. I think the payoff
for the resellers is taken over by Doepfer.
