Hi Dieter, Is there any plans for EMS type modules in the future, ie: VCO, trapezoid, filter etc.

In a way I did, I wouldn't mind a trapezoid generator module though. --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "n keller" <nirokesan@h...> wrote: > > A1K, > > Did you know that the A-102 Diode Filter is like the EMS filter design? > > > > > > > >From: "analog1k" <analog1k@y...> > >Reply-To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com > >To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com > >Subject: [Doepfer_a100] Question for Dieter > >Date: Mon, 19 Sep 2005 19:24:03 -0000 > > > >Hi Dieter, > > > >Is there any plans for EMS type modules in the future, ie: > >VCO, trapezoid, filter etc. > > > > > > > > _________________________________________________________________ > Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! A1K, Did you know that the A-102 Diode Filter is like the EMS filter design? >From: "analog1k" <analog1k@yahoo.co.uk> >Reply-To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com >To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com >Subject: [Doepfer_a100] Question for Dieter >Date: Mon, 19 Sep 2005 19:24:03 -0000 > >Hi Dieter, > >Is there any plans for EMS type modules in the future, ie: >VCO, trapezoid, filter etc. > > > _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! analogue systems is making both a trapezoid generator and a synthi filter under ems license. the a102 diode filter is similar to an ems, but not the same. ems is still in business, so you need an agreement with ems if you want to manufacture these modules and use their name. since analogue systems has this license, doepfer will probably not come up with the same modules. best wishes ingo --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "analog1k" <analog1k@y...> wrote:

Okay, thanks Ingo... Well, say I bought a Doepfer G3 case with the bus board and power supply fitted, and I bought the EMS synthi filter and trapezoid generator will they be powered okay from the G3 bus board/power supply or are the ribbon connectors much different, this could be the cheaper option for me instead of going to analogue systems and purchasing all the relevant modules to make a modular type synthi-A. Cause I know it will probably cost me over a grand!! Any info much appreciated Cheers A1k. --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "selfoscillate" <synaptic_music@y...> wrote:

hello, there are special cables available for connecting asys modules to doepfer frames. but please note that the mounting holes of the modules are not identical on these two brands, so you will end up with small gaps on the front of your system, as long as you don't modify either the mounting holes or the mounting rails of the frame. please also note that mounting asys modules into doepfer frames will void the warranty. anyway, both modules work well with the doepfer buss board. best wishes ingo --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "analog1k" <analog1k@y...> wrote:

Thanks Ingo, I see your point, I did think of actually buying the Asys modules, and build a custom wooden modular case to mount them in and connect them to my A100 system. Maybe easier, and avoid voiding my warranty. Cheers A1k. --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "selfoscillate" <synaptic_music@y...> wrote:
