I don't think that this will be possible as the position of each
potentiometer is measured only when the step in question is called up. And
there is another problem: there is no LC display but only a 3 digit LED
number display that is able to display only numbers or characters that can
be realized with the 7 segments ("#" e.g. would be not possible).

But it should be possible to display the notes (2.g. "C2")in the single step
mode by replacing the "#" by another character that can be made with the
segments of the display.
