Hi Lars, 1.) The MSS 2000 is not the 2nd formant-book it was just released a few years ago and is based on the original Formant. BUT: It contains very many mistakes. Especially in the Sequencer-section. I only built the sequencer from this book and decided not to try the other modules since it is reported they also have a lot of mistakes. 2.) Under http://www.synrise.de/diy/formantpro/formantpro.htm you can find a description of the mistakes but only in german language. 3.) What you can download from C.A.G. is the two original books. And I think the modules in the originals are better with better pcb-layouts. Only drawback is that some parts are not available any longer (µA726, CA3080, etc.) but there are chances to solve that, just search the web. Just this doesn't have an analog sequencer in it. regards Chris --- In ElektorFormant@yahoogroups.com, Gerard Bik <gbik@...> wrote: > > Ha. the auto-snip feature made my last message useless. > > Okay Lars, try the formant section of this link: > > You can download the pdf's from the cloned analog gear > website.
