im in the process of putting a combined system together out of few older elektor modules and newer manufacturers (curetronic/doepfer). ive noticed that alot of the elektor pcbs have pins on that back of the cards, suggesting that they be hardwired to other modules. for example the adsr(3u version) has an envelope in and a gate out. i was thinking it would be interesting to create ins/outs on the faceplate to allow for more routing and make them more compatible and fit better into a bastard system. does anyone have experience or tips on this? thanks in advance.
