Elektor Formant Modular

Hi Folks,

Greetings from Brazil !

I have a Formant based modular . It's a very good instrument. I am 
rebuilding it now, adding more modules and a new wooden case . 
I have book 1 ( basic book , in english) and book 2 (more modules, in 
germany).

I know there's a third book called "Formant 2000" . What kind of 
circuits are there ? Is it a good buy or not ?

Hello Augusto,

The Formant 2000 Book was released in the Year 2000.

There are descriptions and schematics of some new modules, like a new 
VCO (without the obsolete uA726 dual transistor), a transistor ladder 
VCF, divider, modulation sequencer and a big 3 track 16 step 
sequencer.

keep attention there are some mistakes in some of the schematics and 
layouts.
 
I have built a Modular synth based on modules of this book. i will 
post some pictures of it soon.

Hi Anthony,

Yes, we have a portuguese version since 80´s , i think ....

It´s curious because there was a "brazilian portuguese edition" and 
a "Portugal portuguese edition" !

Is this sequencer good enough ? 
It will be very expensive to me import this book, and i've already 
have a lot of similar circuits schematics.
