With the EII, Emax, and EIII.. you have to go into the real time module and midi module, two places.
make sure your midi controller is sending the right CC number to control parameter you're trying to tweak.
say filter cutoff on CC #1, etc. And then go into the screen that has 1:1, 2:5, 3:3, etc. and select the
midi control over cutoff #. and obviously make sure both units are on the same midi channel, or on omni.
