VFX-SD: Sysex patch load via VFX-formatted disk?

Again, I'm fairly new at this. Can you load (or convert and then 
load) sysex-formatted patches into the VFX via a VFX-formatted disk? 
In the files section of the archive I saw sysex patches and EDE disk 
images, but do the EDE images contain sysex patches or some other 
file format?
