You can use the Timbre control whereever you can choose the modulation source, e.g. SRC=TIMBR in the MIXER/SHAPER page. What you have to know: To make the Timbre control work go to the second MASTER page (press MASTER twice) and choose SLIDER=TIMBRE instead of SLIDER=NORMAL. Be aware that in programming mode the 'slider' can still be used to enter values. As soon as you go back to a sound, i.e. without the parameters showing in the display the slider will work as Timbre control. I've used it e.g. to have different volume controls for different sounds or voices at the same time: SCR=TIMBRE for one sound or voice, SCR=WHEEL for another sound or voice, in the OUTPUT page or to change the 'timbre' of a sound using SRC=TIMBRE in the FILTER page. But who am I to tell you about the modulation concept of your VFX... Hans -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: gottamakethings [mailto:gottamakethings@...] Gesendet: Freitag, 23. I guess I have played my Axe now for 10 years and while I have found an occasional patch that I could use it on , generally I NEVER have used it, even though in general I am a real time knob freak. Has anyone had a really great experience with it? Dan Yahoo! Groups Links
