Normally, if they format for SD1, then I usually have no more problems with them. If they don't format, they will never format. Cheap brand HD disks, were less likely to format. A big box of 500 Staples HD disk, had close to a 50% fall out rate, and I returned them to Staples. Hope this helps. Ralph :-)
