Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

i found a VFX SD at a local flea market for 30 bucks, the guy turn it 
on and it said 'calibration error', thats the first problem, a few 
days later i open it and messed it up, while i was cleaning inside i 
bump the eprom chip and it snap, i replaced with the route 88 ones, 
and now it wont boot, it looks like a quick flash on the screen, the 
disk light is always orange , the functions work fine, but cannot 
reset or boot for some reason, i know i messed up i made a easy fix 
to a big problem, it is worth it to send it to thesoniq or should 
just trash it, i have an Akai Mpc 2000, a korg DSS 1, korg 707, akai 
s01, and a korg m3r rack. i gladly appreciate feedback and some 
bashing, thanks
