SD1 and VFX-SD Floppy Disk Drive

I have an Ensoniq SD-1.  The Floppy Diskette drive may be going out on
it.  Wondering if its possible to swap a floppy drive from out of an
old Ensoniq VFX-SD and install the drive into the newer SD-1?  Is
there combatibility issues?  Thanks, Dave
