Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I have an SD-1  32 voice and the thing has gone haywire. It is sending 
strange midi signals, playing random notes during sequences, giving 
the old "recalibrate or ignore", and not playing notes in 4 key blocks
(4 notes sound..4 notes no sound..4 notes sound..etc).
I have seen this problem mentioned here b4 but a lil' refresher would 
be appreciated. Thanx
