And... another original owner of a VFX-SDII here.  I
bought it in 1990, a couple of years after I had
bought an original EPS.  Those two keyboards (and a
tiny toy Casio that I got in 1986) have been all I've
needed for ~20 years.  I'm still on the original
battery, and haven't done the soldering thing yet.  

It's great to have a resource like this group.
