Many footswitches internally consist of a
microswitch with both "Normally Open" and "Normally Closed" contacts. If
you are exclusively going to use this on the SD-1 and are good (or even
mediocre) with a soldering iron, you can move/solder the wire
connection to the other lug on the switch and have it work the opposite
way. Open the switch and check....
