Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

To try different sounds for the track you are playing press "Replace Program" and navigate through the sound library. You can keep selecting sounds until You press "Replace Program" again, which copys the selected sound to the song track. Bear in mind, as You select different sounds, the FX routing selected on the Song track is the FX the sound plays with, so a lot of the Presets doesn´t sound like in normal mode.

You CAN also get the effect that belongs to the sound copied with it, replacing any current FX settings in SONG mode:

When on the Song track with the sound You play, Press "Replace Program" and while pressing it press and keep holding the EFFECTS button with a right hand finger, depress "Replace Program"  and select Banks & Sounds with the left. When You have the sound You want again press "Replace Program" and release both buttons. This second method is best done when the SEQ is stopped, or it might crash.

Thanks for the reply, I have figured it out and yes it was the 
Midi/Local thing but I still have a issue. 

It seems I can only play the sound with the song if Im in song mode 
(meaning in the SEQUENCER) If I am in say one of the banks looking at 
the sound and press play on the SEQ the song starts but then the sound 
will not play with it.
Seems it should play either way but no big deal it all still works 100%
